Eskişehir Osmangazi University was founded in 18 August 1993. The foundations of Medical, Enginery, Architecture and Science and Literature faculties go back to 1970. In 7 settlements of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, there are 9 faculties, 2 high schools, 3 profession high schools, 4 institutes, 2 departments, 11 research and application centers. The Student Council consists of student representatives who are selected in elections that are made in all units of the university in every year. And they can discuss the student problems in administration assemblies and propose for the agenda in administration assembly and senate meeting throughout council leaders.

University is included in the Erasmus Program that aims to exchanging students and lecturers between European Universities and make universities know each other’s academic education programs and make diplomas valid. There are about 70 active student clubs in the University. ESOGÜ lasts its education activity while making its students find out and produce solutions about world problems.
